Collectors make initial contact with debtors for demand of payment by way of telephone and personal conferences. If a payment arrangement cannot be achieved, the file is transferred to collection administrators for review to make recommendations to clients regarding the filing of suit. When suit is filed, the administrators monitor the collection efforts until the account is collected or deemed uncorrectable.
